Speaker Boehner Asks But Doesn’t Answer

July 12th, 2011

Speaker Boehner continues to ask Obama why the stimulus package has not created jobs and the answer is quite frankly it has. The last years of the Bush administration we were losing more jobs every month and after the stimulus package there was a direct reversal as the chart below shows.  The Republicans do not want to admit that slowing down the hemorrhaging of jobs is a positive step.  No one wants this high of unemployment, but without the stimulus package where would we be now?

My Question to Speaker Boehner and GOP

Mister Speaker, could you please justify this quote?

“What some are suggesting is that we take this money from people who would invest in our economy and create jobs and give it to the government. The fact is you can’t tax the very people that we expect to invest in the economy and create jobs,” said Speaker of the House John Boehner

Really !  The fact is tax rates have been at a forty year low for the last 10 1/2 years, so my question to you Mister Speaker is where are the jobs?  The truth is this trickle down economics history has proven to be bogus, which I will show below but I would argue it is even more flawed in this modern day world market.

There is nothing to say that the money the supper rich save with lower tax rates will even stay in this country and I would argue that it has been flowing out of this country to where ever the best ROI (Return on investment) can be found, and that is fine it’s their money to invest as they see fit, but don’t feed the American a bunch of BS and say raising the tax rate will kill jobs.

According to http://thinkprogress.org/

History doesn’t back up the GOP’s claim. In fact, as Center for American Progress Director of Tax and Budget Policy Michael Linden found, “in the past 60 years, job growth has actually been greater in years when the top income tax rate was much higher than it is now”:

For instance, in years when the top marginal rate was more than 90 percent, the average annual growth in total payroll employment was 2 percent. In years when the top marginal rate was 35 percent or less — which it is now — employment grew by an average of just 0.4 percent.

And there’s no cherry-picking here. Pick any threshold. When the marginal tax rate was 50 percent or above, annual employment growth averaged 2.3 percent, and when the rate was under 50, growth was half that.

In fact, if you ranked each year since 1950 by overall job growth, the top five years would all boast marginal tax rates at 70 percent or higher. The top 10 years would share marginal tax rates at 50 percent or higher. The two worst years, on the other hand, were 2008 and 2009, when the top marginal tax rate was 35 percent. In the 13 years that the top marginal tax rate has been at its current level or lower, only one year even cracks the top 20 in overall job creation.”

So Speaker Beohner or anyone else in the GOP how can you continue to tie lower tax rates to job creation when history does not support your claims?   And if lower taxes are the answer and we have been at the lowest rates in the last forty years for the last 10 1/2 years, then were are the jobs Speaker Beohner?

Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to see higher tax rates on anyone, but I also don’t want to see cuts to Social Security, Medicare or the many other programs on the chopping block.  The sad facts are we will probably need to see cuts where I don’t want to see them, so then why are you also not willing to talk about raising revenue by closing tax loopholes and taking the tax rates back to where they were under President Clinton when the economy was strong?

So Mister Speaker now that you have been given a History lesson (which you already knew) lets get serious and stop this My way or the highway style of governing…  The President in my horror agreed to put the entitlement programs on the table, and you still can’t talk about raising taxes, even though you know it has nothing to do with job creation.

When are we going to Wake up America ?

Tea Party Candidates Crush Working Class Americans

March 10th, 2011

I remember watching the Tea Party rallies and it looked to me as the membership was made up of working class Americans… Did you really put these candidates into office to crush the working class and do the bidding of the elite in this country?

The original Boston Tea Party was a direct revolt against the British Monarchy and the British Parliament whom was made up of the ruling class otherwise known as Lords. The modern days Tea Part is not revolting against the real ruling class in America, but is unknowingly doing their bidding.

Did you really put the Governor of Wisconsin in office to take money from a Billionaire to crush the rights of the working class? Once the unions gave concessions that amounted to what the Governor wanted, this was no longer about budgets, and was nothing more than keeping a pledge to Billionaire donors to bust the union.

These union workers might have made more money and had better benefits than the average working person in Wisconsin, but I know that you as a Tea Party believe that it’s the right of every American to work hard, get an education and obtain the best paying job possible.

You are dead set against spreading the wealth in this country, yet you seem to be ready to allow those that have the most wealth continue to take the wealth away from the working class.

The Boston Tea Party Patriots are rolling over in their graves, watching you disrespect their name by doing the biding of the modern day Lords in America. The Tea Party Wisconsin Governor is taking direct calls from Billionaire David Koch to talk strategies of how to crush the working class of Wisconsin.

The Tea Party movement is a puppet for the elite in this country who is funding the movement through conservative groups like Americans for Prosperity and FreedomWorks. These people do not care about the American working class their agenda is simple… continue to weaken the American government, so that they can maintain control of America.
Some in the Tea Party believe in some of these false Obama conspiracies like the birther conspiracy, when you should be paying more attention to the “New World Order” conspiracy which looks to be happening today.

The common theme in this conspiracy theories about a New World Order is that a secretive power elite with a globalist agenda is conspiring to eventually rule the world through an authoritarian world government — which replaces sovereign nation-states — and an all-encompassing propaganda that ideologies its establishment as the culmination of history’s progress. Significant occurrences in politics and finance are speculated to be orchestrated by an unduly influential group operating through many front organizations. Numerous historical and current events are seen as steps in an on-going plot to achieve world domination through secret political gatherings and decision-making processes.

Prior to the early 1990s, New World Order conspiracism was limited to two American countercultures, primarily the militantly anti-government right, and secondarily fundamentalist Christians concerned with end-time emergence of the Antichrist. Skeptics, such as Michael Barkun and Chip Berlet, have expressed concern that right-wing populist conspiracy theories about a New World Order have now not only been embraced by many left-wing conspiracy theorists but have seeped into popular culture, thereby inaugurating an unrivaled period of people actively preparing for apocalyptic millenarian scenarios in the United States of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. These political scientists warn that this mass hysteria may not only fuel lone-wolf terrorism but have devastating effects on American political life, such as the radical right wooing the radical left into joining a revolutionary Third Position movement capable of overthrowing the U.S. government and partitioning America.

It is my opinion that the secretive power elite has finally found an organization to funnel its great wealth in order to move one step closer to their New World Order agenda, and that organization is called the Tea Party.

I do not think that the rank and file of the Tea Party understands they are being used by the elite, but if you just follow the money you will see who is backing this movement.

The New World Order agenda includes, creating a monetary disaster that would spawn a political uprising against the Government. These elite control the banks, Wall Street and the biggest business of the world, so how hard would this be for them to achieve? I now believe that it has already happened and the Tea Party movement is now the 2nd stage of this show.

You have to give this elite credit, not only did they orchestrate this financial crisis, but they convinced the Government into pumping our tax money into bailing out these companies, therefore shifting more of our nation’s wealth to the elite.
I will admit I was fooled by the too big to fail argument and while I still think saving a company like GM, can be justified by the jobs it saved and now is creating, it probably should of stopped there and we should of let the Wall Street, and Banking industry flush it’s losses without government help.

These modern day Lords not only convinced the Government they should bail them out, they then turned against the Government and rallied the Tea Party to revolt against these bail outs. This is brilliant on their part and they have just created the perfect storm against the Government.

I am amazed to see how many people blame the current recession on the governing of just the last two years… do people really believe this big of mess was created in two years. Do they not remember during the 2008 elections Bush was already dealing with the banking crisis and He was the one that fashioned the bail-out to Wall Street and Banks?

The National debt grew by 27% under G W Bushes term in contrast to it falling by 10% during Clinton’s term. Even Jimmy Carter shrunk the debt by 3.3% and you have to go back to Nixon to find a Republican that reduced the national debt and he did by 3%.

Even the poster boy for the conservative movement, President Regan grew the debt by a whopping 21% followed up by another Republican G H Bush who added another 15% in just four years.

So my question to the Tea Party is why are you backing the party that has more of a track record of adding to the National debt? You are being manipulated by these New World Order modern day Lords of America.

While you have thrown your support unknowing to their cause they pay you back just like they did the Government for the bail-out… they pay you back by using your candidates to break the backs of the American working class.
They are also working around the world to further bring America to the brink by solicitations for support among the world’s Nation to replace the U.S currency as the world’s back-up currency. If they succeed in this effort inflation will run rampant in the U.S , and more of your money will flow towards the elite.

Luckily we Americans have a way to slow this down and reverse their efforts and that is the 2012 elections… I don’t know if we can convince the Tea Party members that they are being used or not, but the one thing I do know is we have to counter their efforts and take back these State Governments and put them in the hands of the real people not the “New World Order” manipulated people.

The one thing the Tea Party is saying that we need to embrace is we do have to get our spending under control, but we need to do it through negotiations over real issues, not hidden agendas.

If I could pass one law in this country that would do more to save this country than any other law, it would be to out-law lobbyists… if you truly want a Government by the People for the People, there is NO room for lobbyists in our Government.
But that is another story for another day.

Wake the F#@% Up America!… Before it’s to late!

Right is Right Unless it’s The Far Right!

March 1st, 2011

Those of you that have worked with me know I have been on both sides of the union issue… I mean when you go from union President to 20 years in Management you a good understanding of both sides of the issues.

There were many days that I would be fighting for the rights of the worker and some days were the unions actions really frustrated me.

The thing is the what is going on in Wisconsin and Ohio has been sold by Republicans as a budget issue, when what you hear of some of the other things these Governors have done in their state that actually cost revenue, then you understand this is more about busting unions. The fact they they are trying to bust the union, does not piss me off as much as the fact they are lying about their true intent.

Take a look at what Congressman Ryan has to say in this video… he says it better than I could.
