Billionaire Has Wisconsin Governor On Speed Dial?

February 24th, 2011

Listen what happens when a reporter from the Buffalo Beast impersonates the right wing fanatic union busting billionaire David Koch and got Governor Walker from Wisconsin on the phone to talk about strategies.

Listen to both Videos and the most interesting parts are the end of the 2nd recording.

When CNN asked Walker about this, he said he didn’t say anything that people didn’t already know… my question would be what is the Governor of Wisconsin doing talking Wisconsin Budget strategies with a Billionaire from New York and why does he continue to speak about Wisconsin being the stepping stone for the rest of the country?  He continues to say in public that this is all about the budget and has nothing to do with union busting, but listen closely to what he says in these recordings when he thinks he’s talking to a conservative friend that clearly lets it known what he would like to do.

Before you listen to them, let me say I think the Unions in Wisconsin do need to give concessions, which they themselves have already agreed too, but whether you’re a union supporter or not you can’t allow these right wing fanatics continue to do things to take down the middle class why all along working hand and hand with the right wing Billionaires in this country that see themselves as the same as British nobility of yesteryear.

Here is the 2nd one

Send everyone you know a link to this page so that the truth gets out to who these Tea Party candidates really work for…. it’s not the American people that you see at the Tea Party gatherings… that us what they want everyone to believe. Governor Walker might of got Punked today, but in the last (midterm) election the American people were punked by big business trying to use the Tea Party to take control of America… this is not the first time this has been tried. Will they succeed this time?

Want to help save SSN?

February 24th, 2011

Take the cap off of the SSN tax… right now the tax is collected up to $106,800 and if you were making that much you would pay $6,621.60 into SSN.

If you make $200,000 per year you would pay the same $6,621.60 into SSN instead of the $12,000 that would have been collected if there was no cap and even if you make $1,000,000 per year you would still only pay $6,621.60 into SSN.

Now consider this… the average Wall Street bonus in 2010 was $128,530 which is $21,730 over the cap.

Why is it acceptable for the middle class to pay 6% into SSN for every dollar they make, but for the better off and rich to only pay on a small portion of the reported income?

The argument is that if the wealthy continued to pay into SSN they would then be entitled to collect bigger benefits. My thoughts are simply this… if the insurance companies can make profits by selling life insurance policies then the government should be able to do the same thing by investing once they have an access of money in the fund… it’s a numbers game not everyone will live to collect what they paid into SSN and if everyone had paid their share without a cap the fund would be solvent today.

Are You Really Ready For The Budget Cuts?

February 14th, 2011

Conservative tea baggers take over congress and say they now have a mandate from the American people to stop liberal’s from spending money on entitlement programs. They threaten the liberal President that if he doesn’t get on board for more tax cuts, and spending cuts to drastically reduce the National debt they will shut down the government. Now liberal President Starts cutting and conservatives blame it all on him!

Tea Party wins: $100 billion in cuts in House Republicans’ spending bill

http://thehill.com/blogs/on-the-money/budget/143641-tea-party-wins-house-gop-spending-bill-cuts-at-least-100-billion

The biggest cuts come to transportation and agriculture, with the biggest decreases compared to the leadership bill coming to environmental, agricultural, labor and transportation funding.

But it’s all Obama’s fault… I’m not saying these cuts or at least some of them are not necessary, I’m just saying are we ready?
